"The pontoon and its 450m of ramp reminded me of an endless orientation table, all I had to do was try to name this infinity. I went to "fish" for a host of strange and/or dreamlike names that literature offered to geography. These words, once engraved on metal plates, were fixed on the wooden parapet. Then, for several weekends, we installed our machines on the quays and invited dreamy walkers to add their "words" to ours. There are thus more than 1300 destinations listed on this oak lectern. I would like lovers, walkers, on their own initiative, to in turn deposit "their plaques", as one engraves his initials on a tree or on a bench." P.F.
