Documents d'artistes Caraïbes
Documents d'artistes Caraïbes is an ambitious project aimed at disseminating, recognizing and developing the French Caribbean art scene in the field of visual arts. This initiative, currently in a prefiguration phase, aims to federate the territories of Guadeloupe and Martinique around a documentation and promotion platform dedicated to the works of a selection of visual artists living in these territories. By setting up a common structure, the project aims to meet the professionalization, visibility and distribution needs of artists from these territories.
Supported by the Réseau documents d'artistes, La Station Culturelle and Les Amis de Artistik Rézo Caraïbes, Lunyse Gabon, a development officer recruited in September 2024 for a period of 8 months, is responsible for building the conditions conducive to the operational launch of Documents d'artistes Caraïbes, scheduled for 2026.
