Born in 1952

Lives and works in Marseilles and Paris

The motif is a reference, but it also filters the "too much art" or accepted esthetic.
It allows for prospection in the present : here and now.
It is a reference I use as I see fit.
Asmall piece of nature, a stone, flowers, or a plant will do. Not manufactured objects.
I don't know why I don't wish to know any more on this for the time being.
The motif motivates me, that's all.
At the time when I drew in the city, the Vespa was my vehicle of choice.
You stop here, sit down, look and draw...or not. In fact, the experience also took place on the Vespa. Moretti ismore pertinent. He can film whiledriving, I can't paint. I need to reinvent in the studio.
The landscape is experienced more and more by crossing it, penetrating it ; the painter's paradoxis to lay this penetration out flat.
