I camp. I glean.

I walk through the landscape, I look for things to transform, to fiddle with, to eat, to alchemize. I look for micaceous clay and rosemary flowers with a bitter honey taste, I look for solitude. The forest is full of information, I can only distinguish one or two plants that I have already met in books. I cannot read the forest. In its roaring green I watch for the red glow of the good earth, the sweet earth. When I have found it, I will bite it with my fingers.
