La sucrerie

A series of miniature factory chimneys rise out of the water like a forest of reeds. Their plumes of smoke evoke floral motifs. Change of scale and shift in form in relation to the very real factory visible on the other side of the bank. The work is part of a series of four creations for the town of Fontaine-sur-Saône, with: Remembrance of the Inverted World, Knot Theory and Logical Circles. A fifth work, Le Génialithe, is located in Rochetaillée-sur-Saône.
