Curiosités
The artwork was produced as part of a commission from Lyon Parc Auto
● Production: Art Project

The artwork, composed of two parts, is inspired by the Cabinets of Curiosities. In the corridor, the Cabinet of Curiosities is designed in two dimensions and in negative: what is shown is the void left by the objects, their imprint. The positive silhouettes that escape from the cabinets are used to create wall compositions scattered throughout the car park. In free and figurative association modes, they combine into “meta-objects of curiosity”. All the silhouettes are modelled on objects from the permanent collections of six Lyon museums. A colour differentiates them: yellow for the Museum of Fine Arts, green for the Museum of Confluences, red for the Lugdunum Museum, purple for the Museum of Textiles, orange for the Gadagne and Printing and Graphic Communication Museums.
