Lives and works in Marseilles
Serge Le Squer is developing a significant collection of works bringing together photographs, films, art objects, textualized images, and interventionist manipulations. For several years he has been involved in a work on the economy of signs and an understanding of them when, once de-contextualized, they occupy a foreign space. So, in 2011, he dwelt on the use of acronyms in the world of communication (RAW WAW WAR, Galerie der Stadt Kirchheim/Teck) and their transposition in the form of dynamic projections. In his oeuvre, Serge Le Squer broaches facets of active life, work and daily life. It is in particular the photographic works, slides, which raise the issue of knowing to what extent the organization of space describes an everyday production, the accumulation of equipment and goods, as well as economic thinking.
