Lou Masduraud, born in Montpellier in 1990, has lived and worked in Geneva for the past 10 years. Working by analogy and assemblage between organizational structures of different natures (institutional, social, hydraulic, ecological, psychic), Lou Masduraud proposes forms of phantasmagorical reversals and alternatives to dominant realities. Lou Masduraud has presented her work in monographic (MAMCO Geneva, CAN Centre d'art Neuchâtel, La Maison Populaire, Hardhat) and group exhibitions (Centre d'Art Contemporain de Genève, Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Kunsthaus Langenthal, Fondation d'Entreprise Ricard, Kunsthaus Hamburg, Kunsthalle Basel...). She is the recipient of the MANOR 2023 cultural prize awarded by the Canton of Geneva and the Swiss Art Award 2024.
