On Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of March, 2024, from 11am until 7pm, Trafic : salon de l’édition indépendante, (a fusion of Rebel Rebel : salon du fanzine Marseille and Mise en Pli : salon de la microédition) will return for its second edition at the Frac Sud - Cité de l’art contemporain in Marseille.

Bringing together over a hundred participants – publishers, artists, authors, bookshops, art venues and schools –, Trafic showcases the effervescence and commitment of the international independent art publishing scene.

In order to reflect the diversity of contemporary publishing, Trafic welcomes it in all its forms : books, fanzines, essays, magazines, multiples, discs, posters, digital formats…

At the crossroads of DIY counterculture and contemporary art, Trafic is a showcase for the vitality of publishing, bringing together a wide range of artistic practices : writing, performance, graphic design, typography, graffiti, photography, drawing, tattoos, architecture, music, fashion, comics…

For the duration of the weekend, Trafic will be transformed into a space of encounters, sharing and exchange between participants and the general public. The programme also includes a number of focus events and an evening of Trafic performances and DJ sets on Saturday 30th of March.
