Alongside the critical work some creators produce for social media, which revitalises the history of political satire for these new types of media — for example, the pages compiling memes on the contemporary artworld —, other artists engage in a militant approach to art history by reclaiming the more analogue mediums that their forebears used, and in doing so question the ways in which we organise collectively. Ségolène Thuillart is of the latter group, revisiting mediums such as happenings, action poetry, interactive installations, and even embroidery.
