Lives and works in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat

While my practice may involve a plural approach, my main focus is on sculpture and site-specific installations. Over the course of my travels and wanderings, I put together catalogues of shapes, often borrowed from urban environments and architecture. These forms come back to life in my works, in which I shift or reverse the reality of the initial objects (using different materials and/or divergent concepts). Much like the research the situationists undertook, my work tends to highlight the use of urban and architectural features at the service of a socio-political and aesthetic study of the city.
I took part in the “Fluid Modeling” residency in Xi’an (China) in 2018 and in the “La croisière de l’art” programme (at the invitation of the FRAC-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine in Saint-Sulpice-Laurière) in partnership with Jean Bonichon in 2020. In 2022, I took part in the residency organised by the association Pollen in Monflanquin, the EMBAC residency in Châteauroux and the Centre d’Art Madeleine Lambert residency in Vénissieux in 2023. In 2022, the LACS&S-Lavitrine collective invited me to serve as curator for my first exhibition, “Translation”.
My works have been shown, among other occasions, at the “Chemin d’art” Biennale in Saint-Flour in 2021 and at the Galerie Olivier Meyer in Nantes in 2023.
