The drawings and photographs of Intérieur français reference and repurpose images of domestic interiors from online property ads. After occupation and before renovation, with their sometimes rational, sometimes puzzling forms of organisation, these spaces bear testimony to a disappearing France.

Stéphanie Nava is a French artist based in Marseille. Her practice casts close attention to constructed spaces and the poetics of relations. Her work has been exhibited at MOCAD, Detroit ; IMMA, Dublin ; the Museum of Modern Art, Saint Etienne ; dkw, Cottbus ; Viafarini, Milan, amongst others.
